Membership

Membership is governed by the corporation rule book. A member must be at least 15 years old and eligible under the rules as a lineal descendant of Alice Hutchinson Thomsen, or an immediate family member of a lineal descendant, while the majority of members must be Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people. Applications are made in writing and considered by the directors. A person becomes a member only after the application is accepted and their details are entered on the register of members. There is no joining or ongoing membership fee.
